| Part of the screen | What it shows |

| Quote action menu | Your main actions in one place: New, Copy, Cancel, Details/Notes, Send, Presentation and Materials list. |
Changing an address changes it everywhere Editing the customer or job site address on one quote updates every other quote on the same job.
How to add tasks to the quote
30 secBuild out the solution one task at a time, straight from the catalogue.
- Tap the blue + at the bottom right of the quote.
- Find the task in the catalogue, by category or by searching for it.
- Add it to the quote.
- Keep going until the quote covers the whole job.
New to the catalogue? The Catalogue module covers the kinds of task template and how to shape each one to the job.
How to adjust the price of the quote
1 minAdjust the whole quote in one go instead of repricing each task on its own, using the price and labour adjustments and the credit option.
- Tap the price at the bottom right of the quote.
- Choose Price or Labour.
- Drag the slider, or type in the amount you want to adjust by.
- To take an amount off as a credit instead, use the credit adjustment.
- Check the breakdown to see how the change lands on materials, labour and profit.
| Adjustment | What it moves |
|---|---|
| Price | The final sell price. The hours you have sold stay as they are. |
| Labour | The labour hours, and the final price follows from that. |
| Credit | Takes an amount off the quote as a credit. |
You can use both. Change a task's labour hours, then adjust the final price of the quote on top of that.
Draft quotes only The quote has to be in Draft to adjust its price. Profit only shows in the breakdown for manager users.
Quoting several tasks in the same visit? This is where you bring the doubled-up set-up time back into line, as covered in what the catalogue is. To change a single task instead, see how to adjust the price of a task.
How to add notes and change the labour rate
1 minAdd notes for your customer to read with their quote, or notes just for you and your team. The same screen also lets you switch between your company's labour rates.
- Open your draft quote.
- Tap the action menu.
- Select Details/Notes.
- Switch labour rate if this job needs a different one.
- Type your notes for the customer, or for you and your team.
Changing the labour rate reprices the quote Switching to a different labour rate immediately updates the price of the quote and every task on it.
Check which notes you are writing in Customer notes go out with the quote. Team notes are only for you and your team, so keep anything internal in there.
How to deselect, reselect or delete tasks
1 minTake a task out of the price while keeping it in front of your customer, bring it back later, or remove it altogether if it went on by mistake.
- Tap the task code on the quote screen to open the task quick menu.
- Tap Select/Deselect to move the task out of the quote, or back into it.
- Or tap Delete to take the task off the quote completely.
| Option | What happens |
|---|---|
| Deselect | The task moves to the Deselected section. Your customer can still see it, but it is not included in the price. |
| Reselect | A deselected task goes back into the quote and back into the price. |
| Delete | The task is removed from the quote completely. Use it for mistakes. |
The same options are in the task action menu inside each task, covered in how to use the task action menu. The quick menu just saves opening the task.
How to send your quote by email or SMS

- Choose Email or SMS.
- Check the settings for this quote, including which PDF template it uses.

What your customer sees When they accept the quote online, they are told about the initial payment and asked to pay it by card as soon as they accept.
Collecting the rest later is covered in how to collect payment.
How to turn auto follow-up on or off
30 secOnce your follow-up schedule is set in your configuration, follow-ups go out on every quote you send. You can stop them for a single quote as you send it.
